My first tryst with a Soursop! It's the perfect lovechild of a pineapple and Calpico—creamy and tart. After spending all last week scouring every fruit market and interrogating every fruit peddler across Saint Lucia on a fruitless search for this elusive fruit, we finally admitted defeat and settled on soursop popsicles from the supermarket. The local fruit market is still recovering from the devastion of Hurricane Tomas. Coming home, found managed to get our hungry little paws on a fresh soursop from a stall in Chinatown! YES!
